Live location
A clean map showing where family members are right now, updated as they move, with recent history for the number of days your plan includes.
Places
Save the spots that matter — home, school, Grandma's, training — and Eyrie recognises arrivals and departures automatically.
Routines
Describe the expected arrivals and departures of a normal day. Eyrie only speaks up when someone's running late, left early, or hasn't arrived.
Safety alerts
Running-late, went-quiet (a phone that stopped reporting), low battery, and a flag when a device reports a faked or 'mocked' location.
SOS
A child can press for help and the family is alerted with their location. SOS notifies your family — it does not call emergency services.
Check-in
Ask a phone to report its location now, or let a child volunteer 'I'm here' with a single tap. Reassurance without the nagging.
Text messages
Short text messages like 'on my way' or 'can you pick me up?' — text only, no photos or voice — without needing a separate chat app on a young child's phone.
Guardians & trusted contacts
Invite a co-parent or grandparent with the access you choose. Trusted contacts, like a neighbour or coach, never see location — they get a text if an SOS goes unanswered.
Transparency contract
A plain-language record of what the family can and cannot see, which the child can review and agree to. Visible by design.
Set it once, then relax
Places turn a map pin into meaning: "arrived at school" instead of a set of coordinates. Routines add time — the shape of a normal weekday — so Eyrie can tell the difference between a child who's exactly where they should be and one who isn't.

What Eyrie deliberately will not do
Some things are missing on purpose. That's the product working as intended.
We never see messages or photos
Eyrie shares location and device signals the child can see — never the contents of the phone.
No hidden mode
The app is visible to the child. Defeating that transparency breaks our Acceptable Use Policy.
No ads in the app
No ads or ad tracking in the parent or child app, your family's data is never used for advertising, and never any advertising to children.
No microphone or camera tracking
Eyrie never listens or watches through the device to work out where someone is.
Not an emergency service
SOS alerts your family, not emergency services. In an emergency, contact the emergency services where you are.
No data selling
We never sell or rent your personal information.
Eyrie is a helpful tool, not a guarantee. GPS can be wrong, delayed or unavailable; phones run flat, lose signal or get switched off. Never rely on Eyrie as the only way to know someone is safe.
